Rose Cottage, North Devon, comfortably accommodates up to four in two bedrooms and is the perfect rural retreat for couples or small families. The tastefully decorated, character cottage is ideally located in the countryside yet remains within easy reach of many of North Devon’s premier attractions.
Guests enter Rose Cottage into a handy porch with space for hanging coats and storing boots. A door from the porch leads into a spacious living area, which has a wonderful home-away-from-home atmosphere. The lounge has a comfy sofa and two armchairs, as well as a wall-mounted TV.
Please note the wood burner in the living room is for decorative purposes only.
Just off the living room is the well-equipped kitchen, which has everything you will need for rustling up meals. Appliances within the kitchen include an electric oven with a gas hob, a dishwasher, a microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment, there is also a washing machine.
Within the kitchen and overlooking the garden is the dining area with a high pine table and seating for up to four guests.
Up two small steps from the living area is the downstairs double bedroom. The large double bedroom has a king-size bed and benefits from its own en-suite bathroom featuring a separate bath (with hand-held shower attachment) and a walk-in shower.
On the first floor, under the eaves is the second bedroom. This large bedroom has handy zip and link beds allowing it on request to be set up as either a super-king size double or two 3’ single beds. The bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a gorgeous roll-top bath (with a hand-held shower attachment) and a separate walk-in shower.
To the rear of the cottage is a wonderful cottage garden that has a nice level lawn and a paved patio, perfect for alfresco dinners or summer BBQs with the family. The garden is lovely and private and has a gorgeous array of flowers in the surrounding beds providing lots of colour in the summer months.
Please note that although there is a gate on the driveway, dogs and children should be supervised when in the garden, as we would not consider it fully enclosed.
